Showcasing South Africa’s finest biltong in National Geographic Traveller Food
We were commissioned by The Biltong Company — one of the UK’s leading suppliers of biltong & dry wors products — to design a full page spread showcasing their brand and products for National Geographic Traveller Food. National Geographic is one of the world’s most prestigious brands, and the National Geographic Traveller Food publication showcases premium food and drink brands, restaurants and culinary delights from around the world to an affluent UK audience.
We worked closely with the client to develop a concept for the spread, deciding to take the reader on a journey to South Africa: the birthplace of Biltong. The final spread included a photograph of the product alongside key ingredients that evoke its flavour profile; in this case, spices and fresh peppers. And while the focus of the image was the brand packaging, the natural setting and striking details speaks to the product’s quality and tells The Biltong’s Company’s brand story.
